IB & BAT Resulsts

EIC International Baccalaureate students consistently score above world and national averages.

Our students scored an average of 32,5 points in the 2017 exams, which is above the World Average of 29,9 and the Spain average of 30,7 points.  75% of our students were awarded the Bilingual Diploma which demonstrates their languages expertise - the world average is 28%.

This is our 2nd year of IB exams and it is the 2nd time that we have surpassed both the world and the national results!

Looking at the scores in another way, the world pass rate was 79.9%, Spain 83.6%, and EIC 100% again (as in 2016), so we are very pleased with their performance, but of course next year, we are aiming higher.

These results mean that our BAT/IB2 students will progress to universities in Spain, UK, Germany and France next September. The IB is recognised around the world as a high quality university preparation and an education which develops critical thinking, research, teamwork, independent study, organisation and reflection and international awareness, key skills for the 21st century.
