The EIC participates in the 10th edition of FONIX

On February 25th students from Primary 5 to Baccalaureate 2 of the Escola Internacional del Camp participated in the regional final of the 10th English Competition, FONIX.

The competition is organised by International House, the Catalan Foundation for Recreation and the Department of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya as an activity included on the framework of social initiatives and activities fostering excellence and as a part of the Plan to promote English in Catalan schools.

The EIC is participating for the second year and we should congratulate our representatives of each of the courses for their enthusiasm: Nadia Kryuchkov, Primary 5; Asier Saenz de Cortázar, Primary 6; Naomi Revusky, ESO 1; Sara Assen ESO 2; Tom Kammüller, ESO 3; Anna Assens ESO 4; Gemma Pont, Bacc1 and Marta Van Ginkel, Bacc2.

These two students are studying the double degree: National Baccalaureate and International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.

This year the topic was "Art and Design" and the students had to show their language skills in the field talking about stickers, graffiti, painting styles and art masterpieces.

The fact that the competition was held in the classrooms of the Universitat Rovira i Virgili was one more reason for excitement and enrichment of this activity.

We will see the final verdict ... but for now ... Congratulations to all of you!!
